Ayurveda philosophy indicates that everything in the universe is made up of 5 elements: fire, water, earth, and ether. These elements are combined under 3 energies, known as the Doshas (body constitutions). Vata, Pitta, and Kapha are the three Doshas that represent the life forces that combine and balance the characteristics of the element it influences. One’s goal is for complete balance of your Doshas.

Matra's premium tea blends are sourced from UTZ Certified Kelani Valley Plantation estates.  The tea is used in its non-fermented from to retain more phenolic compounds and anti-oxidants, which help to increase the metabolic rate of the body.  Matra uses 100% natural ingredients sourced from our trusted suppliers in Sri Lanka.  Matra teas have been packed according to HACCP, ISO & FSSC 22000 standards.  There are no artificial flavors or colors in these blends, guaranteeing only natural products have been used.
